An onion and four cloves of garlic are cooked together with the minced                        meat to add lots of flavor. Add beef bacon strips last.
You will need one can of crushed tomatoes, two cans of tomato sauce and two cans of tomato paste.
Two tablespoons of white sugar add subtle sweetness and enhance the flavor of the sauce.
This lasagna recipe is seasoned with fresh parsley, dried basil leaves, salt, fennel seeds and black pepper.
Use store-bought or homemade lasagna noodles.
